Believe it or not...over the last 30 years our little ole' Robbys Roasted Corn served over 2 million ears of corn to our friends AKA customers. We wanna give a big shout to our folks at Channels 4 & 12, Jammin' 98.3fm, ESPN Milwaukee radio, and Radio Milwaukee 88.9fm, the Milwaukee Community Journal (my mom's paper) & MKE newspaper for their stories on Robby's Roasted Corn! "Aww shucks" don't we feel special... (pun intended) Other than the NEW AD album, "Since The Last Time" being released October 2007; I've been working on a crazy EXCITING project called the LIFE MUSIC FEST! It is an organic life & music festival out in the backwoods of Atlanta Georgia! My plans are to do it near the end of this year! LIFE MUSIC FEST will have great Hip Hop, Jam Bands, Afro-beat and a bunch of other treats to change our lives! We all need some peace and purpose don't we?! Life can get crazy, for example..another huge tree fell in our yard after being struck by lightning, the 6th one this year! We're lucky that they haven't hit the house! My boy Gary fishes over in our lake, rain or shine, lightning or thunder! Even when my fishin' dock broke and he fell in, he still caught over 10 big ole' fish. (Gotta love it) :-) I just got Jahi & Zoe's bikes out the shop, so they're riding all over the place and then droppin their bikes anywhere, so they happened to fall on our Porshe! I wanna "beat em silly" but you gotta love these rascals they're growing up! :-) Then to top it off, our oldest dog, Queenie (83 yrs old), and she's lost control of her bowels, so she steady squirtin' poop all over our driveway! What do ya do? (LOL) But anywhooo, I had the most LIFE changing morning yesterday! You know those times when you KNOW GOD IS REAL!!!!! I've always known it intellectually, but when HE shows himself TO YOU personally, it still blows my mind! I had been struggling with some personal issues for about 29 years! A thorn in my flesh that I could NOT heal, despite countless & various efforts. Some great friends of our family, came by first thing yesterday morning, apparently God had put it on their hearts so heavy that they couldn't sleep!! Through sincere and patient talks and many biblical scriptures they reminded my wife & I of the power of GOD and of Jesus! It really flipped my life upside down!
