FRANK SKI'S 4TH ANNUAL WINE AUCTION December 16, 2007 -- Me & my family attended the 4th Annual Wine Auction to benefit the Frank Ski Kids Foundation. The event was held at the home of Frank Ski and included guests like Sean "Diddy" Combs, Malik Yorba, Quinees "Q" Parker of 112, former Braves player Brian Jordan, Luther Cambell of 2 Live Crew, and many others. 3 FOOT ICON Speech, Chief Xcel (Blackalicious), and Kyle Hollingsworth (String Cheese Incident) formed 3 FOOT ICON. They just finished 4 shows on the east coast and did 3 other shows earlier this year in Colorado. They perform on stage with Garrett (Bass) and Ryan (Guitar) from the band Motet. You never know what special guests will show up. So far, E.T. (Dirty Dozen Brass band), Slo-Mo, Steph Pockets, JAHI, and Chemere have graced the stage. Stay up on updates. I Preach in Harlem, NY and Atlanta! I was the guest speaker at the Church of Christ, Harlem Ministry Sunday, Sept. 30th. His 6 POINT, 1 hour long, sermon was on the huge phenomenon of "the Secret" and how the bible shows the original source of much of that wisdom. But Speech also went into how the bible drastically differs from the things spoke of in the Secret DVD. The Harlem Church of over 400 excited members had never heard me preach before, they were excited and I was almost brought to tears by their reception and warmth. They sent him off with gifts, cards and well wishes for the Church in Atlanta. That next Sunday (Oct. 7th), I Preached at the Hilton Garden Inn for his home church (GACC) in Atlanta Ga. He and fellow AD band member JJ Boogie did a tag team sermon based on the groups recent trip to Jerusalem. They did a slide show presentation as well. The audience was very pleased and excited to have them back home and sharing their trip. The lead evangelist, Mike Patterson was away on a trip to California.
