"The Grown Folks Table" (A music celebration that crosses the globe)

A person can't stay in high school all his life, they grow up. GFT deals with those issues. A lot of young folk today don't have that (grandma figure) we had in our youth. They don't really know the civil rights marches, the political movements and sacrifices. This album speaks of the complexities of being grown to a new generation basically being raised by peers and TV. Immaturity is glorified, no one is expected to grow up. Rappers who in reality have kids or wives, rarely talk about them in their songs. Instead they portray life as riding around on four wheelers, dancing women at the beach, shopping at the mall, endlessly going to strip clubs, and playing video games. The song "An Impact" challenges the perception that TV is the only thing that validates peoples lives, it's an underdog saga where the "ordinary guy" gets to define his own worth to be extraordinary. The song "Here we are" featuring Braille and Theory Hazit, (from HHIM) deals with appreciating life right now and not living in the past nor waiting for some future that may never come." This album deals with anger more than my past records, songs like, "Relieve Me" and "Follow Me" were written when I was in the middle of a very heated moment in my life. Yet this is also the first album where I specifically talk more about Jesus and what HE means to me, which I think is going to be interesting for some of my religious & non-religious fans. "The Grown Folks Table" is pure hotness, full of hard hittin beats & uplifting content.
